End User License Agreement

TidyMate (formerly Everjoe Folder Organizer) · Version 3.4 · 6 October 2026

TidyMate is designed and developed by Everjoe (Egwu Joseph Nnanna, ERA Technologiz and Engineering Service), Lagos, Nigeria. By installing or using TidyMate you agree to this agreement. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.

1. Free plan

Without a license key you may use TidyMate for free, with the limits shown in the app (currently: 1 computer, 1 active folder and 2 Smart Rules, with Preview and History & Undo). An active folder is a folder TidyMate is configured to organize or monitor. We may change the free plan in future versions.

2. Paid licenses

A license key lets you use the app with the limits and features of its plan (computers, active folders, Smart Rules and Watch Folders; for example Personal 1 computer, Pro 3, Business 10), for the period shown in the app. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew until cancelled; when a license ends, the app returns to the free plan. Paid plans confirm the license online when activated and at least once every 7 days; if the app can't confirm it, or the computer's clock has been changed, paid features pause until it can. Keys issued for the preview before the official launch on 22 December 2026 are no longer valid. Business keys may show your organisation's name and logo inside the app.

3. Restrictions

You may not share, publish, resell, rent or lend license keys; copy the software except for your own backups; or reverse engineer, crack, modify or remove the license checks of the software, except where the law expressly allows it.

4. Your files

TidyMate moves files on your computer only when you ask it to (or, with Watch Folders, in the folders you choose). It never deletes or overwrites your files and keeps a history so operations can be undone. You are still responsible for keeping backups of important data.

5. Privacy

Your files are organized and read on your own computer and are never uploaded. The app sends only your license key, a machine ID and the app version to the license server. Read the full privacy policy.

6. Updates and support

Updates are offered from time to time and may be installed by you. Support is provided by email at everjoe514myown@gmail.com and on GitHub. If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us within 14 days and we will try to fix it or agree a fair refund.

7. No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the last 12 months.

9. Ending this agreement

This agreement ends automatically if you break it. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the software.

10. Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
