TidyMate (formerly Everjoe Folder Organizer) · Last updated 6 October 2026
1. Who we are
TidyMate is designed and developed by Everjoe (Egwu Joseph Nnanna, trading as ERA Technologiz and Engineering Service), Lagos, Nigeria. Contact: email everjoe514myown@gmail.com or GitHub.
2. Your files stay on your PC
- Sorting, Smart Rules (reading text inside PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files), Watch Folders, History and Undo all run locally.
- Settings, rules and history are stored in
%APPDATA%\EverjoeOrganizeron your computer. You can delete that folder at any time. - TidyMate has no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
3. What the app sends to our license server
Only when you activate a key, about once a day while a paid plan is active to confirm it, and when checking for updates, the app sends:
- your license key;
- a machine ID, a code derived from your computer so a key can be locked to it (it does not contain your name or files);
- the app version.
It may also download your business's branding (name and logo) if your plan includes it. If the server can't be reached, the free plan keeps working offline, and paid features keep working for up to 7 days since the last confirmation.
4. When you buy a license
The shop collects your name and email address and, if you give them, your phone number and company name, plus the plan you bought. We use them to issue and email your key, send renewal notices for subscriptions, and help you if you lose your key. Card and bank details are entered on the payment provider's page (Paystack or Stripe) and never reach us. If you contact us on Slack, Discord or WhatsApp, your messages are handled by that service under its own policy.
5. Service providers
- PythonAnywhere hosts the license server and shop.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps standard web-server logs (such as IP address and browser) for security.
- GitHub hosts the downloads.
- Brevo sends license and renewal emails.
- Paystack and Stripe process payments.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone except these providers, or when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep data
License and order records are kept while your license is active and for up to 6 years afterwards for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your details earlier, except where we must keep them by law.
7. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (and the GDPR, if you are in Europe) you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
8. Children
The shop is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Big changes will also be announced in the app's release notes.
